SFC extends consultation period for review of sponsors regulation

The Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) today announces a one-off extension of the consultation period for the review of the regulation of sponsors from 6 July 2012 to 31 July 2012, following market requests.

Written comments may be submitted on line via the SFC site (www.sfc.hk), by email to sponsors@sfc.hk, by post or by fax to 2810 5385.

A copy of the consultation paper can be found on the SFC website.
