To enhance industry participants understanding
of the Securities and Futures Ordinance and related subsidiary
legislation, the Commission in conjunction with industry organizations
conducts various briefings to interested parties covering different
areas of the Securities and Futures Ordinance. Below is a list
of public presentation materials given in various seminars.
Readers should note that presentations have only dealt with
certain aspects of the legislation. Also, they have occurred
in parallel with consideration by LegCo of the draft subsidiary
legislation to underpin the Securities and Futures Ordinance.
In the light of LegCo consideration, certain provisions of subsidiary
legislation have been changed. Care must be taken in using the
presentation material as it is not a substitute for reading
the provisions of the Securities and Futures Ordinance itself
or those of the relevant subsidiary legislation once Gazetted.
