Continuous professional training requirements
Every licensed individual must fulfill at least five hours each calendar year of continuous professional training (CPT) for each type of regulated activity.
A licensed corporation must ensure that its licensed staff fulfills this requirement. For details, please refer to the Guidelines on Continuous Professional Training.
Approved CPT providers
Please note that you are not required to attend courses offered by the approved CPT Providers to fulfill CPT hours. A CPT provider approved by the SFC is just one option. You can view the List of Approved Continuous Professional Training Providers here.
Guidelines on what seminars/workshops can be considered as CPT
Many organisations including licensed corporations organize seminars and/or workshop that count towards the CPT requirement. For details, please refer to section 4.2.4 of the Guidelines on Continuous Professional Training.
