Associate Director / Senior Manager - Supervision of Markets

Reporting to the Director / Senior Director, the successful candidate will assist in the regulation and supervision of financial market infrastructures and in the formulation of regulatory policy for exchange traded and OTC derivatives markets.

Responsibilities:
The key responsibilities of this role are to monitor operations of the derivatives markets in Hong Kong, both OTC and exchange traded, to contribute to the regulation, supervision and policy formulation for these markets and to provide relevant technical analysis. The successful candidate will also need to review changes to trading and clearing rules as well as proposals for developing market infrastructures to ensure that the derivatives markets are operated orderly and efficiently. 

Requirements:
You must have a university degree and relevant OTC derivatives experience in the financial services industry in Hong Kong, the Mainland and/ or other major overseas markets. You should have an excellent technical knowledge of derivatives products and a sound understanding of the operations, infrastructure and regulation of the OTC and exchange traded derivatives markets.  A strong command of written and spoken English is essential.  Knowledge of Chinese would be an added advantage.
