Short position reporting
Since the Securities and Futures (Short Position Reporting) Rules came into effect on 18 June 20121, in general, any person who has a reportable short position is required to notify the SFC. To report a short position, submissions must be made through the Short Position Reporting Service of the SFC Online Services Portal.
