Reporting to the Head of Investor Education and Stakeholder Engagements (Head of I&S), the jobholder will be responsible for the end-to-end management and operational excellence of the IFEC FinEd Hub – Hong Kong’s first digital investor and financial education experimental learning centre.
In addition, the jobholder will coordinate with various stakeholders to deliver targeted investor and financial education programmes and provide strategic support for the IFEC’s international contributions to global bodies such as International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development / International Network on Financial Education (OECD/INFE).
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assists the Head of I&S to oversee the daily operations of the IFEC FinEd Hub, ensuring seamless digital and physical user journeys and high levels of customer satisfaction. This include overseeing day-to-day operations, managing staff and vendors to ensure professional delivery of educational experiences and the maintenance of the IFEC FinEd Hub.
- Monitors performance metrics and visitors feedback to continually optimise the IFEC FinEd Hub’s experiential learning experiences for key target audience which include seniors, young adults (including tertiary students) and school children and families.
- Collaborates with various stakeholders including government bureaus and other external stakeholders on targeted investor and financial education programmes with special emphasis on tertiary students and seniors, in alignment with the Financial Literacy Strategy.
- Supports senior management on international investor and financial education engagements, specifically regarding IOSCO Committee on Retail Investor and OECD/INFE.
- Plans, oversees and manages projects end-to-end. Ensure projects are delivered fulfilling defined goals, within budget and timeline.
- Promotes and takes accountability for project quality, identifies opportunities to improve delivery and oversees governance process to reduce risk and ensure effective and timely decisions are taken.
- Prepares management summary and reports project progress to the IFEC Board and management.
- Works with team members and vendors to achieve optimal use of resources and drive maximum productivity during project execution.
Requirements:
- University degree in Social Work or Business and Finance, with a minimum of five years of solid and relevant work experience in social work related to financial education and / or financial services sector. Registered Social Worker in Hong Kong will be an advantage.
- Possesses understanding of personal financial planning, the financial services, investor education, social service and education sectors.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with an excellent command of written and spoken Chinese and English, and fluency in Putonghua is an added advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, good people management skills to lead and drive for results, a good team player.
- Open minded to change and innovation, and desire to digitally transform education programmes for greater impacts to their target beneficiaries.
- Familiarisation on artificial intelligence operations and regulations will be an advantage.
