Ms Ng is a member of the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) and serves as an Executive Director of the Investment Products Division. The Division is responsible authorising investment products and monitoring their regulatory compliance. Additionally, the Division is dedicated to driving policy changes to enhance Hong Kong’s regulatory regime and maintain its position as a leading asset and wealth management hub globally.
Ms Ng has extensive experience in asset and wealth management. Prior to joining the SFC, she was the Chief Executive Officer and Head of Funds and Institutional Business at J.P. Morgan Asset Management Hong Kong, where she oversaw local governance, drove business growth and led the product innovation of locally domiciled fund series.
In addition, Ms Ng was the Chairman of the Hong Kong Investment Funds Association and a member of the SFC’s Advisory Committee and Products Advisory Committee, sharing industry insights and providing pragmatic recommendations.
Ms Ng chairs the Committee on Real Estate Investment Trusts and Products Advisory Committee. She also sits on the SFC’s Executive Committee and SFC (HKEC Listing) Committee.
