YEONG Wei Ming, Alexandra
Ms Alexandra Yeong is Interim Head of the Investment Products Division of the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC). The Investment Products Division is responsible for authorising and supervising collective investment schemes and other investment products; it is also responsible for the development and implementation of the SFC’s asset management strategy and policies.
Since joining the SFC in 1996, Ms Yeong has held various roles in the SFC’s Legal Services Division, Supervision of Markets Division and Corporate Finance Division. Her extensive experience encompasses a wide range of projects relating to the operations as well as legislative and regulatory reforms of the securities and futures industry.
Ms Yeong is a barrister-at-law.
