The successful candidates will be responsible for a combination of regulatory work, including the processing of applications for authorisation of retail investment products, their offering documents and marketing materials in accordance with SFC product codes; on-going monitoring of such products and analyzing market information and data; providing assistance to policy-oriented research and comparative studies on international securities regulation; assisting in research projects and analysing regulatory policies, macro-economics and financial matters in Hong Kong, Mainland China and overseas markets.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have a university degree in Law/Economic/Accounting/Finance, preferably with experience in financial services or related industries. Exposure gained in major law or audit firms, international investment banks or asset managers is preferable, with background in analytics and experience in market risk management, design and collection, mapping and analysis of market data and fund related portfolios data a plus. You should have excellent analytical, writing, presentation and interpersonal skills, and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. An excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese is required, with proficiency in Putonghua a plus.
Candidates with less experience may be considered for the position of Assistant Manager.
