Temporary Manager (2-Year Contract) - Enforcement (International Cooperation and Enforcement Policy)

Duties & Responsibilities:

This position provides an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to a special area of the Commission’s enforcement work.

You will be responsible for:

  • supporting the Commission’s law amendment initiatives, including reviewing and summarising responses to the Commission’s public consultations on proposed law amendments
  • supporting the Commission’s enforcement cooperation effort, independently managing case files and working directly with Mainland and international securities regulatory authorities
  • supporting the negotiation of memoranda of understanding and similar documents with Mainland and international securities regulatory authorities to facilitate effective international enforcement cooperation
  • supporting the Commission’s work on IOSCO Committee 4

Requirements:

You will be a legal or compliance professional, with at least 5 years’ working experience, at least 3 of which should be with a professional firm, financial institution and/or governmental/regulatory authority.

You should have a curious can-do mindset, excellent attention to detail, and the patience and resilience to learn new skills required to perform the duties of this role to a professional level. You must be an active team player with good interpersonal and communication skills. 

An excellent command of English and Chinese is essential.
