Assistant Manager – Information Technology, Corporate Affairs

Duties & Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of the role include:

  • Supervising a team of system analysts/developers in developing and supporting various kinds of BI reports and dashboard applications.

  • Managing external vendors to ensure the deliverables are of high quality and delivered on time.
  • Create prototypes to visualize a business idea and participate in new project initiatives.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role: 

  • You should have a university degree and/or professional qualification in Information Technology; and at least 5 years of application development experience in BI and analytics projects.
  • Sound technical knowledge of all the following:
    • Microsoft Power BI, SSRS, SSIS and SSAS
    • Microsoft PowerView, PowerPivot and PowerQuery
    • Microsoft SQL Server DB administration and SQL development
    • Oracle PL/SQL development and tuning
    • SharePoint development, ASP.Net, C#, HTML, JavaScript and custom web services
    • SharePoint 2013 administration
  • Possess excellent project management, presentation, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to perform requirement collection, design, programming, testing and implementation with minimum supervision.
  • Strong command of written and spoken English and Chinese is required.
  • You must be assertive and an active team player with strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills, and be able to work under pressure.
  • A strong sense of responsibility and impeccable integrity is essential.
