Duties & Responsibilities:
Reporting to Director – Corporate Finance, you will be involved in the work of the Corporate Disclosure Team, which involves the administration of the Codes on Takeovers and Mergers and Share Buy-backs as well as the monitoring and regulation of corporate activities of listed companies. In addition, you may assist in the development of policy on regulation of an effective mergers and acquisitions market in Hong Kong.
Requirements:
The successful candidate for this challenging position is expected to be a qualified lawyer/accountant, with at least 2 years’ relevant post-qualification experience. Experience in a corporate finance area or relevant regulatory bodies would also be considered. You should have an ability to analyse complex transactions and technical texts, assess regulatory and legal issues and formulate appropriate regulatory responses. You should also be able to prepare clear and concise documentation and manage multiple case projects at the same time effectively. Good knowledge of Hong Kong and/or overseas regulation of corporate activities of listed companies and the regulatory framework will be an advantage.
Finally, you must possess good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills with a strong sense of responsibility and impeccable integrity. Although not necessary, fluency in Putonghua would be a plus.
