Contract Manager (2-Year Contract) - Enforcement (Strategy and Technology Team)

The Strategy and Technology Team of the Enforcement Division is now seeking an innovative and forward-thinking technology specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving the adoption of innovative technologies - particularly artificial intelligence (AI) - to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of enforcement workflows.

Duties & Responsibilities:

You will be part of the team responsible for the market surveillance functions of the Commission which includes:

  • Technology Strategy: Develop, implement, and continuously refine the Enforcement Division’s technology strategy with a focus on leveraging AI, data analytics, and automation to improve investigative and operational workflows.
  • AI Solution Development: Partner with a diverse group of stakeholders, including investigators, lawyers, data scientists and IT professionals to identify, evaluate, and implement AI-driven tools and workflows to deliver measurable outcome throughout the investigation lifecycle.
  • Education and Change Management: Lead initiatives aimed at educating and facilitating change management processes to promote AI adoption and best practices within the Division.
  • Industry Awareness: Stay informed on the latest industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data engineering, analytics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning to drive strategic decision-making and innovation.

Requirements:

To qualify for this role, you should hold a university degree and relevant professional qualifications in statistics, computer science, engineering, or a related field. You should have at least five years of experience in applying AI or advanced analytics to business or regulatory processes.  

You should possess strong understanding of AI methodologies, data analytics and machine learning techniques. Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, is necessary. Knowledge of securities regulation, enforcement, or financial crime investigation is an advantage but not required.

Candidates with less experience will be considered for the Assistant Manager position.
