Temporary Manager / Assistant Manager - Human Resources (Learning & Development) (12-month contract)

Duties & Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Senior HR Manager, the key priority of this role is to drive the talent development and learning agenda to enhance organizational and individual capabilities which are essential to the long-term success of the Commission. As part of the HR team, your ability to understand the fast evolving development needs of our employees in different functions and develop effective solutions and programs to meet those needs are essential. Key responsibilities include:

  • Partner with stakeholders to design and implement talent management and development initiatives and activities
  • Utilize data and provide insights to enhance talent management and development outcomes
  • Manage relevant HR project initiatives to enhance organisational capabilities

Requirements:

You should possess a University degree preferably in HR Management, Finance, Economics, Psychology, or a related discipline. You should also have a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience gained from major financial services or multi-national organisations to enable you to quickly grasp the learning needs of our professional workforce. You are required to be familiar with competency modelling, best practices in talent management and succession planning. You should be able to think strategically and creatively to address the organisation’s future talent needs. Ability and experience in managing projects will be essential. You must also possess excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese and be proficient in Putonghua. Familiarity with Workday or similar HR systems will be an advantage.
