This is an excellent opportunity for you to join our professional team in the Corporate Finance Division of the SFC and contribute to the development of the Hong Kong debt securities and structured products market.
Duties & Responsibilities:
You will be involved in a broad range of listing policy and regulatory work, including:
- developing rules and policies for the development of the Hong Kong listed debt and structured products market;
- evaluating transactions and applications involving listing applications that are novel, controversial or sensitive or that have policy or regulatory implications; and
- supervising the Stock Exchange’s performance of its listing regulatory functions.
You will work closely with other Divisions within the SFC as well as the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong.
Requirements:
An ideal candidate should possess a university degree preferably in Law, Accounting and/or professional qualifications such as CFA. He or she should have relevant work experience of at least 5 years from securities and futures companies, investment banks, professional law firm, accounting firms, regulatory bodies and/or stock exchanges. Excellent conceptual, analytical, interpersonal and written skills are essential for the position. Familiarity with the regulation, debt securities and/or structured products would be an advantage.
