The Strategy and Technology Team of the Enforcement Division is now seeking a motivated and forward-thinking candidate to carry out virtual assets-related monitoring and surveillance. Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform trade surveillance of crypto trading activities on licensed VATPs to detect anomalies and market misconduct.
- Conduct blockchain analysis to identify suspicious behaviours and trace virtual asset movements across multiple blockchains.
- Use specialized blockchain analytics tools and open-source intelligence (OSINT) to uncover relationships between wallets, exchanges, and entities.
- Prepare clear and well-documented analytical reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor emerging trends, typologies, and global regulatory developments in the virtual assets ecosystem to inform investigative strategies.
Requirements:
To qualify for this role, you should hold a university degree and relevant professional qualifications in statistics, computer science, engineering, or a related field. You should have at least five years of experience in trade surveillance or blockchain analytics. Proficiency with blockchain tracing techniques, trade surveillance systems and smart contract programming languages are highly preferrable. Knowledge of virtual asset regulatory frameworks and VATP operations are added advantages.
You should possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and investigative skills, with attention to detail and accuracy. You should be able to synthesize complex data into actionable intelligence and communicate findings effectively.
Candidates with less experience will be considered for the Assistant Manager position.
