The Information Technology Department is seeking two high-calibre candidates with excellent interpersonal and communication skills to join as Managers, leading IT projects, implementing innovative solutions, and providing support to various business units within the SFC.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Coordinate across teams on project reporting, prioritization, resource allocation and visibility
- Champion IT projects of various sizes as a project manager and/or a business analyst depending on necessity
- Collaborate and engage with different stakeholders, including business users and vendors, throughout the feasibility study, implementation, and benefit realisation phases
- Initiate discussions, liaise, and negotiate with users to reach consensus on the requirements, delivery schedules and resource commitments
- Conduct business impact analysis, technical solution design and change management
- Provide technical consultancy and IT solution support to various IT teams and business users
- Liaise with users to provide support and user training
- Manage budgets, procurements, and suppliers
- Oversee the tendering process, including the preparation of tender documents, proposal evaluations, recommendation reports, negotiations, funding approval papers, and contracts
- Maintain IT policies, procedures, and user manuals
Requirements:
- University graduate in technology-related disciplines
- Minimum 10 years of experience in IT related project management and business analysis, preferably in the financial or regulatory sector
- Strong project management skills in leading IT projects and teams, with excellent influencing abilities to drive consensus and progress among diverse stakeholders
- Proficiency in both written and verbal English and Chinese, with the ability to articulate ideas and issues clearly in layman’s terms
- Assertive in making reasonable and firm judgements to achieve planned project objectives and results, from ideas formulation to implementation
- Self-motivated, with a sense of responsibility, accountability, and integrity
- Preferably possesses technical expertise in case management and workflow-related system implementation, web-based solutions, document management, business intelligence and artificial intelligence.
- Preferably holds relevant experience or certified qualifications in IT industry standards and methodologies, such as PMP and Agile project management.
