Approach
CSR is multi-faceted and CSR efforts can be measured by
different means. As a statutory body with a regulatory role,
we will take a simpler approach to CSR, focusing on substance,
not form. We take a bottom-up approach, adopting only initiatives
that are achievable and within our means while adhering to
our basic CSR philosophy and principles. Our CSR policy is
formulated around three pillars:
These pillars cover the most fundamental aspects of CSR,
each taking into account a simple win-win proposition for
both the groups affected and the organisation itself.
Internally, CSR is the responsibility of each and every SFC
employee. We believe that it is only through our joint effort
that we can translate a CSR policy into effective action.
