Background Information:
Tang was a finance manager of Yulong Computer Telecommunication Scientific (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of China Wireless Technologies Limited (stock code: 2369), between 5 August 2002 and 8 December 2011.
On 26 January 2016, three summonses were issued against Tang in connection with suspected insider dealing in respect of her dealings in the shares of China Wireless Technology Limited. It was alleged that Tang sold 188,000 shares in China Wireless Technologies Limited between 11 March 2011 and 27 April 2011 after she became aware of negative inside information about the company. Tang failed to attend hearing at the Eastern Magistrates’ Court. On 25 February 2016, a warrant was issued by the Court for her arrest.
The SFC has credible information that Tang has left Hong Kong since 26 November 2011.
