Background Information:
Liu was the Executive Director, Chairman and/or Non-executive Director of Coolpad Group Limited (“Coolpad”, the shares of which are listed on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (“SEHK”), stock code 2369) between 17 August 2015 and 3 April 2018.
Liu was also a non-executive director of Beijing Media Corporation Limited (the shares of which are listed on the SEHK, stock code 1000) between 26 January 2016 and 21 June 2019.
Liu also held various positions in Leshi Internet Information and Technology Corp., Beijing (the shares of which were listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange but delisted with effect from 21 July 2020, stock code 300104) from 2004 to 2018, including deputy general manager, head of financial department and vice-chairman.
The SFC had made various attempts to contact Liu since 2021 but has not been successful.
The SFC has credible information that Liu is currently not in Hong Kong.
We wish to speak to Liu in connection with matters concerning Coolpad and its subsidiaries.
